Donald and Becky Kamese
Donald Kamese was born and raised in the jungles of Uganda. By God’s grace, he overcame overwhelming odds of abuse, hunger, and homelessness, and rose above his circumstances when he received salvation in Christ through the testimony of a stranger. Becky originated from the Anglo suburbs of England. Though she came to Christ at an early age, it was not until the tragic loss of her sister to cancer that she fully embraced the beautiful hope of the Gospel.
Donald is an enthusiastic, missions-minded man with a huge heart, captivating smile, easy manner, and deep passion for God. His eagerness to express his love and concern for others quickly engages all who have the joy to cross his path, and before long, Jesus is the center of every conversation. Donald’s love for others is contagious because it is completely genuine. That is also how he won the heart of Becky, his precious wife and ministry partner.
Becky is a gifted and compassionate woman. With her authentic love for people and her enthusiasm, she has little trouble gaining the trust and respect of people from many different beliefs and backgrounds. The women she serves readily recognize the tender nature of Jesus at work in her heart and welcome her into their own lives. As a result, God continues to use her to teach and counsel women in difficult situations, inserting hope and wisdom into their lives to make eternal differences.
In God’s infinite wisdom and perfect orchestration, Donald and Becky’s paths are now permanently intertwined. Though they come from two completely different worlds, their passion for Christ binds them together and makes them a formidable force for the Kingdom of God. To know the Kamese family is to love them.
Donald and Becky are truly lights in the darkness. Working closely with local missionaries, they share the Gospel with the people in the Circle of Silence, equipping, training, and mentoring local leadership. It is their passion to go forth, extending the Kingdom of God in a beautiful and effective way as Scripture teaches. Their new missionary training center and English school will further advance them toward this goal. Looking ahead, they hope to train and send missionaries into the 10/40 Window and other unreached places across the globe so that every ear may hear the good news of Christ!
We are just ordinary people who desire to be obedient to the Lord to go and make disciples.
